How to add and reset Radio Thermostat Company of America product on Hubitat Elevation hub

2. Resolution

Factory Reset

1. The thermostat must be in OFF mode.
2. Wait until the radio wave icons on the left side of the screen stop flashing then touch the screen once to turn on the back light and then hold the center of the screen for about 8 seconds until the thermostat beeps.

Factory Reset (Alternate Method)

1. Place the CT101 in the off position by pressing mode button until OFF is shown at the top left of the screen.
2. Press the menu button
3. Press and hold the center of the screen for about 5 sec or until the screen changes then release.
4. You will see two arrows. First press the up arrow and wait for the count down.
5. Now press the down arrow and again, wait for the count down.
6. All parameter values will be restored to defaults and a message is sent to any radio module installed to instruct the module to restore its own default values.
7. The thermostat will now resets itself.
8. Press the house to get back to the main screen.

Join the Z-Wave Network

1. From the Hubitat Web Interface home page, select Z-Wave, then Start Z-Wave Inclusion on the Device Discovery page.
2. Press/Touch the MATE button on the MENU screen. A large r1 will be displayed.
3. This will bring you to the network include screen. Confirm by touching MATE again to initiate the mating process. The MATE icon and the status indicator LEDs will flash.
4. When a device has joined a network the LINK icon will appear under the radio tower.

Exclusion from the Z-Wave Network

1. From the device's details page, select Remove Device, then Remove
2. From the Hubitat Web Interface home page, select Z-Wave, then Start Z-Wave Exclusion on the Device Discovery page.
3. Press/Touch the MATE button on the MENU screen. A large r1 will be displayed.
4. This will bring you to the network include screen. Confirm by touching MATE again to initiate the mating process. The MATE icon and the status indicator LEDs will flash.
5. When a device has excluded from the network, the LINK icon will disappear under the radio tower.
