Changing your Mac's desktop background is a straightforward process. Here's how to do it:
Click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner of the screen to open the Apple menu.
Select "System Preferences" from the dropdown.
In the System Preferences window, click on "Desktop & Screen Saver."
You'll see a list of available wallpaper collections on the left. Click on one of these collections to view the available wallpapers.
To choose a new wallpaper, click on the thumbnail of the image you want to set as your desktop background.
You can also select a folder of your own images by clicking "Folders" on the left and choosing a directory with your pictures.
Once you've selected an image, you can adjust its settings. Choose how you want the image to be displayed, whether it's "Fill Screen," "Fit to Screen," "Stretch to Fill Screen," or "Center."
Close the Desktop & Screen Saver window when you're satisfied with your selection.
Find an image you want to set as your desktop background. This could be a file in Finder or an image you find while browsing the web.
Right-click on the image.
From the context menu, select "Set Desktop Picture."
The image will be set as your new desktop background.
Remember that you can easily change your desktop background to another image or collection whenever you like, so feel free to experiment with different wallpapers to give your Mac a fresh look.
