Authored by: Support.com Tech Pro Team
1. Introduction
Your Fitbit Versa has the ability to provide music playback. To use this feature, you'll need to connect a Bluetooth headset or earbuds to your smartwatch. This guide will assist you in that process.
Before You Begin:
Have your Fitbit Versa charged and ready to use
Have your Bluetooth Headset charged and ready to use
Set your Device to Pairing Mode
Pairing Mode lets your Bluetooth device find a new device to connect to. Most Bluetooth devices make it simple to enter Pairing mode, but it does vary from device to device.
If these methods don't work, refer to the user manual for your Bluetooth device for how to enter "Pairing Mode".
Many Bluetooth devices, if not paired to anything or if they can't find the device they were originally paired to, will simply enter Pairing Mode when you turn them on.
Speakers and Headsets
Turn off your headset or speaker.
Push and hold the power button to turn the device back on, but do not let go of the power button.
The speaker or headset will make a second tone after a few seconds indicating it's in Pairing Mode.
Release the power button.
2. Pair a Bluetooth Headset
On your watch, select Settings.
Select Bluetooth.
Select + Audio Device.
Your watch should locate your Bluetooth headset. Select your headset.
Your Headset will have a different name than shown in the screenshot.
Your headset is now paired to your watch. A checkmark will appear on the screen to confirm the pairing is complete.
