This Guide will help you on how to Connect Insta360 GO 2 to phone and PC.
2. Phone
Connect GO 2 to your phone via the Insta360 App to preview your shot, control shooting, playback footage, or customize the Action Button function.
Turn on GO 2.
Open the Insta360 App, tap the camera icon at the bottom of the page, swipe left until you see GO 2, then tap Connect Now.
Here you should see your camera listed. The name of your camera is "GO 2 ******" by default, where ****** is the last six digits of the serial number on the box your GO 2 came in.
If connecting for the first time a prompt will appear on the app. Tap GO 2’s Action Button to confirm the connection, or follow the on-screen instructions to connect GO 2 to the app.
If the above does not work, go to the phone's WiFi settings and search for GO 2. Tap it to connect, then return to the app.
After connection, you will be able to access the following features:
WiFi preview
Remote shooting
Playback, download & export footage
Button remapping
The effective WiFi connection range is 33 feet (10 meters) in optimal conditions.
3. Computer
You can download GO 2's files to your PC, then use the Insta360 Studio to edit and export.
