Windows 11 provides helpful tips and suggestions to improve your user experience, but if you find them distracting, you can disable these notifications. Here's how to do it:
Press "Win + I" on your keyboard to open Windows Settings.
Click on "System."
In the left sidebar, select "Notifications & actions."
Scroll down to the "Notifications" section.
Under "Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows," toggle the switch to the "Off" position.
Press "Win + R" to open the Run dialog box.
Type "gpedit.msc" and press "Enter" to open the Group Policy Editor.
Navigate to "Computer Configuration" -> "Administrative Templates" -> "Windows Components" -> "Cloud Content."
In the right pane, find the "Turn off Windows Tips" policy.
Double-click on it to open the policy settings.
Select "Enabled" to disable tips and suggestions.
Click "Apply" and "OK."
Press "Win + R" to open the Run dialog box.
Type "regedit" and press "Enter" to open the Registry Editor.
Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows."
Right-click on the "Windows" folder and choose "New" -> "Key." Name the new key "CloudContent."
In the "CloudContent" key, create a new 32-bit DWORD value. Right-click in the right pane, choose "New" -> "DWORD (32-bit) Value," and name it "DisableSoftLanding."
Double-click on "DisableSoftLanding" and set its value to "1."
Restart your computer to apply the changes.
After following these steps, you won't receive tips and suggestions notifications on your Windows 11 system. You can always reverse the changes to re-enable them by following the same steps and setting the options to "Not Configured" or "Disabled" as needed.
