How To Duplicate Your PC's Screen On A TV With HDMI

1. Introduction

Many a time, we desire to connect a PC to TV to enjoy a better multimedia experience by virtue of the TV’s larger display. With an HDMI cable, the establishment of such a connection is as simple as flipping a light bulb switch. Read through to know the steps involved.

This guide is suitable for when you want to duplicate your PC's display on your TV. This is distinct from extending your PC's display on your TV.

2. Connect PC And TV with HDMI Cable

1. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the PC. If your PC is an older generation that has no HDMI port, you can always get a USB-to-HDMI adapter.

1. Connect the other end of the cable to your TV, noting the exact input it is plugged in to.

Enable Your TV To Accept Input

1. Use your TV remote control in heading over to Source or Input option in Settings or Control tab, to be able to nudge the TV set into stand-by mode for signals from the HDMI source you are plugging in.
