2. Factory Reset a Ring Video Doorbell 2
Resetting a Ring Video Doorbell 2 to its factory default state will erase all its saved settings and preferences.
Make sure the doorbell is powered up if it's hardwired or the battery is charged.
Remove the doorbell's faceplate then press and hold the reset button on the front of the camera for 15 seconds.
After releasing it, the ring light located on the front will flash a few times indicating the doorbell is restarting.
The doorbell is now reset to factory defaults. If you want to set it up again, you'll need to use the Ring app to reconnect it to your WiFi network.
