Launch the Philips Hue app on your smartphone or tablet.

1. Introduction: Philips Hue: Factory Reset
A factory reset will reset the Philips Hue bridge back to default settings. This is typically done when there is a problem that can only be fixed with a reset or if you want to sell or give it away.
A factory reset on your Philips Hue Bridge will delete all lights and scenes, and then start your setup again from scratch.
2. Philips Hue Bridge: Factory Reset
Ensure the Bridge is powered on.
Remove the Ethernet cable from the Bridge.
Turn the Bridge up-side down.
Using a pointed tool, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds.
The LED on the front will blink to show that the reset is in progress.
Once the LED stops blinking, the reset is done and you can proceed to set up the device again.
