2. Menu Navigation
The menu navigation controls on the Remote are as follows:

3. Restart App
Press the Home or Back buttons on the remote control to quit an app then launch it again.
4. Restart Device
To restart your device via power cycle:
If your device has buttons or a remote control, press the power button to turn it off.
Unplug it from the power outlet and wait for 10 seconds.
Plug it back into the power outlet, then turn it back on from the power button if it has on.
5. Power Cycle Home Network
Remove the power cable from both your modem and router.
Verify all lights are off on the modem and router.
After 30 seconds, plug in your modem and then your router.
It may take a few minutes for the internet to reconnect.
6. Improve Network Performance
You may have to shut down or disconnect other unused devices that are connected to the same network.
If your device is connected via Wi-Fi, its distance from the router, as well as well as other environmental factors can affect the quality of the signal. Try moving your router to a more central location or use a Wi-Fi extender.
The best type of connection is a wired Ethernet connection. If possible, this is the way to go.
7. Update Software
An internet connection is required to perform the software update.
Press Home on your remote.

Go to Others, Software then Update and press Enter.
Wait for the system to check for available updates. If a new update is available for download, select OK to install it.

8. Factory Reset
Resetting the device to factory defaults will erase all saved settings and preferences.
Press HOME on your remote.
Use the arrow buttons on your remote to navigate to Settings. Press Enter.
Use the arrow buttons on your remote to navigate to OTHERS. Press Enter.
Use the arrow buttons on your remote to navigate to Initialize. Press Enter.
Use the arrow buttons on your remote to select Factory Set. Press Enter.
