1. Introduction

The Element Smart TV is a smart TV with a simple, intuitive interface and built-in ability to watch live TV with an antenna, access connected devices like a cable set-top box or game console, and stream content over the internet through different streaming channels (more popularly referred to as apps).

Smart TVs today have an increasing amount of inputs. When the wrong input is selected, you will get a blue screen. If you're having issues with a blue screen, this guide will provide some solutions that may help.

2. Select Source

  1. To change the input on your TV, press the SOURCE button and cycle through the options, selecting the one that you need. Make sure that the one you are looking for is powered on.

3. Check Input Device

Sometimes, it's not a problem with your TV, but rather with the device sending pictures and sounds to your TV.

  • Try testing another device, first. For example, if you're watching cable, try switching to DVD or Blu-Ray, and play something there. If that works, it's most likely not a problem with your TV, but rather the device that's sending the programming your TV is showing.
  • Try turning your cable, DVD, or Blu-Ray player off, waiting a few moments, then turning it back on, and try again.
  • If one device works fine (say, your DVD or Blu-Ray player), but another does not (say, your cable box), it would be best to contact the provider of the device that isn't working.
