7. Delete Games
Delete games and apps.
You can free up PlayStation 4 data storage space by following these instructions:
Open Settings.
Scroll down to System Storage Management and select it.
Open Applications.
Select any item you want to delete, press OPTIONS on the PS4 controller and choose Delete from the screen.
Uninstalled games and apps will stay in your library. You can launch them from your library to reinstall them again later.
8. Hard Drive Cleanup
Games consume the most storage space on your PS4. To free up space, you may want to uninstall some games. When you delete a game, its game save data isn’t deleted. This means you can reinstall the game in the future and resume from where you left off.
To remove applications or games, do the following:
Select Applications under System Storage Management.
Select the applications you wish to uninstall and then choose Delete.
It may take a few minutes for the content to be erased.
You can do the same steps if you need to free some space from Capture Gallery, Saved Data and Themes.
