How to Fix Greyed Out Options Menu Samsung Smart TV
If the options menu on your Samsung Smart TV is greyed out, follow these steps:
Check Input Source:
Ensure you are on a source that allows access to the options you want to change (e.g., HDMI, TV).
Restart the TV:
Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power source.
Wait for 30 seconds and plug it back in.

2. Close the Smart Hub App
Samsung's Smart Hub app will block some menu options while it is open. Let's go ahead and close it.
Hold down the Back or Return button until your television returns to the previous screen. This should mean your previously opened app has closed.
3. Restart
Turn it off by pressing the Power button on the unit itself or on the remote.
Then unplug it from the power outlet.
