The TCL Roku TV is a smart TV with a simple, intuitive interface and built-in ability to watch live TV with an antenna, access connected devices like a cable set-top box or game console, and stream content over the internet through different streaming channels (more popularly referred to as apps) that can be added via the Roku Channel Store.
If you're having issues while watching TV, this guide will provide some solutions that may help.
2. Check Status Light
The status light indicator is located below the TCL brand on the front of the TV and behaves the following way:
If the TV is off or in stand-by mode the light should be solid white.
If the TV is on it should be either off or blinking.
Point the remote towards the TV and press any button.
If the light blinks every time your press the remote button, then the remote and TV are communicating.
If the light doesn't blink, then you may need to check the power to the TV or troubleshoot the remote.
3. Check Power
Make sure the TV is plugged into a working power outlet. Bypass any power strips for troubleshooting purposes.
Press the power button on the unit itself or on the remote to turn it on.
4. Check Coaxial Cable
Make sure that the coaxial cable is firmly attached at the back of the TV and that there are no broken wires.
If the TV is connected to a cable or satellite box, ensure that the box is turned on and the cables are firmly connected from the box to the TV, and to the wall or outside source. Try changing the cables, if necessary.

7. Factory Reset
A factory reset returns the TV to its original, "out of the box" state. Performing a factory reset will remove all stored personal data relating to your settings, network connections, Roku data, and menu preferences. Once completed, you must repeat the guided setup, reconnect to the Internet, linking your Roku account, and reloading streaming channels. If applicable, you must also repeat the antenna TV setup (channel scan) and input configuration.

Select the Home button on your remote to open the main screen.
Scroll down and select Settings.
Press the right arrow button, scroll and select System.
Press the right arrow button, scroll and select Advanced system settings.
