Your Sony Smart TV is capable of running Apps which are often connected to the internet. Troubleshooting both TV and network connection would resolve problems you may have with your Sony Smart TV apps. This step-by-step guide will help you with possible resolutions.
Before you proceed:
Make sure that your Sony Smart TV is connected to the Internet.

2. Restart
Press and hold the power button on the remote for about 5 seconds.
The TV will turn off and will restart automatically after a short time.
Your personal settings and data will not be lost after the TV restarts. Its the same as unplugging the AC power cord on your Smart TV.
3. Refresh Internet Content
From the Home menu, select Settings.
Select Network.
Select Refresh Internet Content.
Wait for the process to complete.
4. Update App
From the Home menu, select Google Play Store.
Select Updates.
Apps displayed here will have an update available.
Select the app you're having problems with.
Select Update.
Wait for the update to complete.
5. Uninstall App
From the Home menu, select Google Play Store.
Select Settings.
Select My apps.
Choose the app that you want to uninstall.
Select Uninstall.
Select OK to confirm.
6. Install App
Google Play on the TV only displays apps that are supported by the TV. Apps that are not displayed are not supported at the moment.
From the Home menu, select Google Play Store.
Find the app you're looking for through categories or by searching the app's name.
Select the app that you want to install.
Select Install.
Select Accept to start the installation process.
After the app has installed it will appear on the Home menu.
