2. Adjust the Text or Display Size

If you're having trouble with the size of the text and other items showing on the screen of your Android phone or tablet, there are a few options you can adjust them with.

  1. Open Settings on your phone or tablet.

Change the Text Size

With this option you can choose how small or large the text should look on your screen.

  1. Go to Font size.

  1. Use the slider at the bottom to decrease or increase the text size. Slide left to make it smaller and slide right to make it larger.

Change the Text and Items Size

With this option you can choose how small or large the text and other items should look on your screen.

  1. Go to Display Size.

Use the Magnification Feature

With this feature you can zoom in or out, and pan around the screen as if you were using a magnifying glass:

  • Make a stretching or pinching gesture with two or more fingers on the screen to zoom in or out.
  • Drag two or more fingers around the screen to pan.
  1. Go to Magnification.

  1. Turn the feature On if you want to use it or turn it Off if you want to avoid using it accidentally.

  1. The magnification feature does not work right away. Once the feature is turned on, you have to triple tap the screen to activate or deactivate it. You'll know it's active when all the screen edges are orange.
