The Samsung Smart Hub is an app pre-installed on your Samsung Smart TV. It enables you to install other apps, stream music and movies, and even watch live TV.
Like most software, sometimes it just doesn't work properly. This guide will help you resolve issues with the Smart Hub.
2. Change the Television Region and Back Again
Switching the Smart Hub Location
Press the Smart Hub button on your remote.
You may need to press the Menu or Home button on older remotes.
When Smart Hub has loaded then press fast forward, 2, 8, 9, rewind.
Select another location from the Internet Service Location Setup list.
Accept the Smart Hub Terms and Conditions.
The Smart Hub App will begin to update. This will force the Smart Hub to reset.
You can either use this new location or switch it back by following these steps again.
3. Factory Reset
Restoring your device to its factory default settings will remove all user data.
Power on your TV.
Press the Menu button.
Select Support, then Enter.
Choose Self Diagnosis, then Enter.
Select Reset, then Enter.
Enter your Security PIN. The default PIN is 0000.
The default PIN code is 0000. If you changed the password in the past and now can't remember it, you can reset it by powering off the TV then entering the following on your remote control: Mute > 8 > 2 > 4 > Power.
The factory reset screen will show a warning message. Tap Yes to confirm factory reset.
During the process, TV may turn off and on and will display the Setup screen.

Press Menu on your remote.
Select Network.
Select NetworkStatus.
Select IP Settings.
Select DNS Setting.
Select Enter Manually.
Input your DNS address here.

Restart your Home Theater Receiver, TV, and the source device you want to watch.
On Your Home Theater
Select the Power Button on your receiver's remote to turn it off.
Wait 15 seconds.
Select the Power Button again to turn it back on.
On Your TV
Select the Power Button on your TV's remote to turn it off.
Wait 15 seconds.
Select the Power Button again to turn it back on.
On the Source Device You Want to Watch
Select the Power Button on your source device's remote to turn it off.
Wait 15 seconds.
Select the Power Button again to turn it back on.
9. App Reinstallation
In the next steps, we will guide you through uninstalling and reinstalling the app you are having issues with.
10. Uninstall App
Press the Smart Hub or Home button from your remote.
Select APPS.
Select Settings.
Select the app that you want to uninstall or delete.
Select Delete option.
Select Delete to confirm.
11. Install App
Press the Smart Hub button from your remote.
Select Apps.
Search for the app you want to install by selecting Magnifying glass icon.
Type the Name of the application you want to install. Then select Done.
Select Download.
Once the download completes, select Open to use your new app.

13. Network Test
Perform Network Test to check the internet connection of your Samsung Smart TV.
Select Menu button from your remote.
Select Setup.
Select Network.
In the Network Menu select Network Test.
Your Smart TV will now perform the Test.
If you're Smart TV is successfully connected, a check mark will appear next to each part of the test.
