Element Remote is a specialized application for Element Smart TV. In a connected home network, it allows user to control Element smart TV easily with mobile devices like mobile phone, tablets, etc. All you have to do is to download the Element Remote app for your Android phone or tablet from Google Play.
Unfortunately, there is no App for iOS devices.
Before you proceed we need to make sure your TV and Phone/Tablet are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Check Wi-Fi
Depending on what device (Smartphone or Tablet) and which generation you have, the menu theme and options might look slightly different on your screen. However, the steps should be similar across all Android devices and generations.
To check if your Android mobile device is connected to Wi-Fi:
Open Settings on your phone or tablet.
Select Wi-Fi.
Make sure Wi-Fi is turned On, then select the Wi-Fi network that says Connected under it.
Here, you'll see the basics of your Wi-Fi connection, with the Wi-Fi network name at the top, and other information such as Signal Strength, Link Speed and the Frequency you're connected at and the Security type of the network.

To see more information about your connection, select Cancel.
Select the Settings gear in the top right corner.
Here, you'll see a variety of information related to your connection at the bottom, such as the MAC (Media Access Control) address and IP addresses your Android device has been given.
3. Verify Network Connection
On your remote control, press MENU to display the main interface.
Use your remote's arrow buttons to highlight TV SETTINGS, and press OK. Then, use the arrow buttons to select NETWORK and press OK.
You will be presented with information regarding your network connection.
In the first field (1), the type of network connection your TV is using will be displayed. This will be either "WIRED" or "WIRELESS."
In the second field (2), your current connection status will be displayed. The name of the network you are connected to will be displayed beneath your connection status.
The bottom field will display the IP addressing information of your connection.
4. Install Android App
Open Play Store.
Type Element Remote in the search bar.
Select Element Remote from the search results.
Tap Install to start the download.
If prompted, click Accept.
Once downloaded, click Open to proceed to the setup.
5. Setup Android App
We need to get a 6 character connection code from your TV to get it connected to your wireless device.
On your remote, hit Menu.
Go to Setup.
Go to Settings.
Go to Portable Remote. A 6 character code will display.
On your phone select the person icon at the top.
Type in the code that is on your TV, then select Connect.
Your mobile device will connect to your Smart TV.
If the Element app did not return to its home screen, select Return.
The Element app will now allow you to control your Smart TV in the same way the supplied remote does.
