The Samsung Gear application connects your Samsung Gear to your mobile device. It also manages and monitors the Samsung Gear features and applications you've installed through the Gear Apps.
2. Enable Bluetooth
Swipe down on your screen (or up, if using a tablet) to access the menu.
Hold down on the Bluetooth icon to bring up Bluetooth options.
Ensure the Bluetooth switch is set to ON.
3. Install Android App
Launch the Play Store.
Search for "samsung gear" using the search box located at the top.
Touch the magnifying glass on the on-screen keyboard to search.
Make sure the app you select is provided by Samsung Electronics and not a third party. Tap Install.
Tap Open.
4. Pairing
Turn on your Samsung Gear Fit2 and bring it within 10 feet of your smartphone.
Open the Samsung Gear app on your smartphone.
Tap on Connect to Gear.
Confirm that the passkey displayed on your smartphone and the one displayed on the Gear Fit 2 match. Then, tap on OK.
Check the boxes to agree with the terms and features then tap on Next.
Tap on Sign In to login to your Samsung account to be able to sync your data. If you don't have an account yet, follow the instructions to create one and fill in your required details.
5. Enable Bluetooth
Open Settings on your phone or tablet.
Then tap Bluetooth.
Make sure Bluetooth is set to On.
6. Install iOS App
Open the App Store.
Type in "Samsung Gear" in the search bar.
Find Samsung Gear in the search results and tap on GET.
