How to Install the Sengled Home App

1. Introduction

This guide will help you install the Sengled Home app to control your Sengled bulb.

Tools You'll Need:

• A paperclip
• iPhone charging cable
• Access to a computer with iTunes installed
• Any other non-consumable tools needed
• Comment out tools section if no tools are necessary

Before You Begin:

• Have your Sengled bulb screwed into your light fixture and powered on.

Supported Bulbs

Sengled offers multiple types of bulbs, each with a slightly different use and program to control them.

Sengled Bulbs Supported by the Sengled Home App

Element

Smart Wi-Fi Bulb

Sengled Element Bulb with 3rd Party Hub
If you are using a Sengled Element bulb, but are using your own, 3rd Party hub (such as Wink, Echo, or SmartThings), do not use this guide. Instead, set up the bulb per the instructions for that hub instead.

3rd Party Zigbee Hubs

Bulbs Supported By Other Sengled Apps

The following bulbs are not supported by the Sengled Home app, but rather are supported by other Sengled apps.

Sengled Pulse

Sengled Pulse App
For bulbs with Bluetooth Speaker, use the Sengled Pulse app.

2. OS Choice

To continue, we need to know what Operating System your smartphone or tablet has.

There are 2 main Operating Systems for smartphones currently available, Android and iOS.

3. Install App (Android)

1. Open the Play Store, then select the Search Bar at the top.
   

1. Type in Sengled Home, then select Sengled Home from the list.
   

1. Select Install.
   

4. Install App (iOS)

1. Open the App Store and select Search in the bottom right corner.
   

1. Type in Sengled Home, and select Get for Sengled Home in the list.
   

1. Select Get or Cloud Install for AppName.
   

1. Select Install.
