The Fitbit Versa, Versa 2 and Ionic offer some storage space to put your favorite playlist or podcasts to enjoy on your workout, allowing you to leave your phone at home.
Before You Begin:
Fitbit App On Your Computer You need to have the Fitbit app set up on your computer in order to transfer music files over.
You can use certain music services to help find music to download to your Fitbit.
These are paid-for music services, and not required in any way to copy music you already have to your Fitbit.
Deezer
Deezer is a French music streaming service that offers downloads as part of their premium package.
You must have a Premium account to use Deezer with your Fitbit.
Pandora
An American music streaming and recommendation service with the ability to create playlists.
You must have a Premium account to use Pandora with your Fitbit.
2. Transfer Music Files to the Fitbit
You can transfer your favorite music and playlists from your computer to your Fitbit Versa or Ionic.
On Your Computer
Open the Fitbit App on your computer.
Select Manage My Music.
If prompted, log into your Fitbit account.
On your Fitbit
Connect your watch to the charging cradle.Because WiFi uses a lot of power and your Fitbit watch is so small, it will quickly drain the battery and may disconnect during the transfer.
Open the Music App, and select Transfer Music.
It can take a minute or more for your watch to connect and be ready to transfer.
On Your Computer
Follow the instructions on screen to choose the playlists and songs you want to download to your watch.
3. Listen to Music on the Fitbit
Once you've got your favorite tracks downloaded, you can play them at your leisure with a connected bluetooth headset.
Connect your Bluetooth headset to your Fitbit.
Connect Headset to Fitbit Versa Once music is on your watch, you will need to use a Bluetooth headset to listen to it.
Select a track you'd like to listen to, then select Play.
4. How to Delete Music from Your Fitbit
Need space on your Fitbit for a new app or just tired of the music you've been listening to? You can easily delete the music from your Fitbit to free up space or add new tunes.
On Your Computer
Open the Fitbit App on your computer.
Select Manage My Music.
