The Polar M200 is a waterproof running watch with wrist-based heart rate, integrated GPS and 24/7 activity tracking.
This guide will guide you through the pairing process with your Polar M200 fitness tracker.
2. Mobile Platform
Your Polar Fitness Tracker can be setup using your smartphone or tablet.
On your phone or tablet, this guide will help you make sure Bluetooth is enabled, the app is installed, and guide you through first-time setup.
3. Enable Bluetooth
Swipe down on your screen (or up, if using a tablet) to access the menu.
Hold down on the Bluetooth icon to bring up Bluetooth options.
Ensure the Bluetooth switch is set to ON.
4. Install Android App
Launch the Play Store on your mobile device.
Tap in the search box at the top of the screen.
Search for "polar flow" and tap on the found app.
Tap Install and then Open to use it.
5. Setup App
Launch the Polar Flow App.
Select Get Started.
Sign in with an existing Polar account or select Create Account to create a new Polar account to log into.
Once you are logged in, you will be prompted to add a device to the Polar Flow app. Ensure Bluetooth is turned ON on your mobile device, and make sure you are near your Polar device (within 10 feet).
Once your mobile device has found your Polar device, follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing your Polar device with your mobile device.
You should now be at your main/home screen of the Polar Flow app. Congratulations! Your Polar device will now begin synchronizing with the Polar Flow app automatically when it is in range of your mobile device.
6. Enable Bluetooth
Open Settings on your phone or tablet.
Then tap Bluetooth.
Make sure Bluetooth is set to On.
7. Install App iOS
Launch the App Store on your mobile device.
Tap Search in the bottom right corner.
Search for "Polar Flow" and tap on the found app.
Tap Get and Install, then Open to use it.
8. Heart Rate Sensor
When you're wearing a Polar Bluetooth Smart heart rate sensor that's paired with your M200, the M200 does not measure heart rate from the wrist.
To pair a Polar heart rate sensor with your M200, do the following:
Wear the moistened heart rate sensor as instructed in the heart rate sensor user manual.
The M200 only has 2 buttons - a Left button and a Right button. Press the Right button until you see Settings. Then, press and hold the Right button to enter that menu.
Press the Right button until you see Pair & sync. Then, press and hold the Right button to select it.
Press the Right button until you see Pair & sync devices. Then, press and hold the Right button to select it.
Your M200 will begin searching for an available device. Bring your Heart Rate sensor close enough to touch the M200.
Pairing will begin to display on-screen once your M200 has located the Heart Rate sensor.
Completed will display after the pairing process is complete.
9. Pairing
To pair a Polar Balance scale with your M200, do the following:
The M200 only has 2 buttons - a Left button and a Right button. Press the Right button until you see Settings. Then, press and hold the Right button to enter that menu.
Press the Right button until you see Pair & sync. Then, press and hold the Right button to select it.
Press the Right button until you see Pair & sync devices. Then, press and hold the Right button to select it.
M200 starts searching for your scale. Searching is displayed on the M200.
Step on the scale. The scale display shows your weight.
After a beep sound, the Bluetooth icon on the scale display starts flashing, meaning that the connection is now on.
Your Polar fitness tracker will attempt to connect to the scale once it is within range.
Once complete, it will begin recording your weight as you use your scale.
The scale can be paired with 7 different Polar devices. When the number of paired devices exceeds 7, the first pairing will be removed and replaced.
