If your Roku device is not working as intended and you've exhausted all other possible repair steps or you want to give it to someone else, you can reset it to factory defaults. This guide will help you with that process.
The Roku device will be unlinked from the Roku account, all personal preferences will be erased and all settings will be restored to their factory default state.
2. Factory Reset
Push the Home button on your remote.
Select Settings.
Select System.
Select Advanced system settings.
Select Factory reset.
This is a safety and confirmation screen. Look carefully on the bottom right, you will see a 4-digit code listed. To continue with the factory reset, enter that 4 digit code using the number pad on the screen, then select OK at the bottom.
