This guide will assist you in setting it up and enjoy the streaming experience it provides.

You will also need a High Speed HDMI Cable for HD TVs or a Premium High Speed HDMI Cable for 4K and HDR TVs, as they are not included, but sold separately.
3. Player Connectors
The connectors on the player are as follows:

4. Setup Prep
Connect one end of the HDMI cable into the rear of the Roku box and the other end into the rear of the TV.
Connect the power cable into the Roku player and the adapter into a power socket.
Set the input on your TV to the port you connected the HDMI cable to.
Insert the batteries in the remote matching the displayed polarity.
5. Connection Type
Devices can be connected to a network in two ways:
Wired
Wired, using an Ethernet cable.
Wireless
Wirelessly, using Wi-Fi.
6. Connect Device to Network - Wired
Acquire an Ethernet cable.
Take one end of the cable and plug it into your router/modem's Ethernet port.
Plug the other end of the cable into your device's Ethernet port.

7. Wired
As soon your Roku device is turned on, the remote should pair with it automatically.
If the remote doesn't pair, make sure the batteries are inserted properly then press and hold the pairing button (1) until the pairing light (2) starts flashing and wait for it to pair with the Roku device.
For the following setup process, use the Arrows on the remote to navigate and the OK button to make selections.
Select your preferred language and press OK.
Next, you'll have to set up your Roku devices internet connection. If you wired your Roku device with en Ethernet cable, go downward to select Wired then go right and select Connect to wired network. The connection will be configured automatically.
Once connected to the internet, the Roku device will check for software updates. Select OK to proceed and wait for the installation to complete. The Roku device will restart automatically after the update.
Next, you'll have to set the display type. Select Auto detect to proceed.
Your display type will be detected. Select OK, go to automatic to continue. If you need to reconnect the HDMI cable, select I've changed something, retry.
The Roku remote can control the volume and power of your TV. Select Check remote settings to set up this feature.
You will be asked to confirm whether you hear music playing or sound being muted. If your TV is not recognized, you will then have to enter the TV brand using the on-screen keyboard.
The last thing to do is activate your Roku device. You will be provided a website link to go to and a code to enter on that page.
Use a computer or a mobile device to activate your Roku device. Open a web browser of your choice and go to the provided link. Enter the provided code in the required field, put a checkmark to agree with the End User License Agreement and click or tap Submit.
Next, you will be asked to link the device to a Roku account. If you already have one you can login to with your account credentials, otherwise you will need to create one.
Once you filled out your personal information, you can Add channels to your account by clicking or tapping the plus sign below the logos. Scroll up and down to see more channels and please be aware there are free and paid for channels. Click or tap Continue to proceed.
Once you completed the activation, the channels you selected will be loaded unto your Roku device.
When the setup is complete, you will see the All done message on your screen. Press the right arrow to finish.
8. Wireless
