How to setup Insteon hub
Connect the ethernet cable to your router and plug in the power cable.
Connect the cables to Insteon Hub. Wait until the Insteon Hub beeps and its LED turns from red to green.
Choose the app for you:
Download the Insteon Lighting app if you are using Hub 2 (2245-222) and you have lighting control products and sensors.
Download the Insteon for Hub app if you are using a Hub 1 (2242-xxx) or Hub 2 (2245-xxx) and plan on using legacy devices such as cameras, siren, and other non-lighting devices.
Follow the on-screen instructions to scan the Setup Code and configure Insteon Hub.
Add your first Insteon device by tapping its icon from the available device types and following the on-screen instructions.
