3. Hub Placement

Depending on your setup, your installer has positioned your Harmony Pro 2400 Hub inside the cabinet or beside your entertainment devices.

Open Cabinets

  • Your Harmony Pro 2400 Hub should be in line of sight of your devices.
  • IR signals from your hub can reflect off of walls and other surfaces before reaching your devices. Your Hub does not need to be in front of your devices, but it should be nearby.

Closed Cabinets

  • Your professional Harmony installer may have placed your hub in your cabinet or AV rack, and connected the IR emitter to avoid the need for your devices to be in a direct line of sight.

4. Charging the Remote

Your Harmony Pro 2400 remote is rechargeable. Keeping your remote in its charging cradle when you're not using it will ensure it's fully charged when you need it.

5. Downloading The App

  1. Ensure your device meets the minimum requirements and install the Harmony mobile app.
  1. iOS 12.0 or later is supported
  1. Android 8.0 or later is supported

  5. Ensure your Harmony Pro 2400 Hub is powered on.
  6. Launch the app and select Connect to Hub.
  7. Select the room you want to connect to.

Activities

Harmony allows for Activities such as "Watch TV" or "Play a Game". Once configured, start your "Watch TV" Activity and your volume commands will automatically go to your stereo, and channels commands will automatically go to your TV.

Turning Devices Off

Off Button turns off all the devices included in your Activity. For example, powering off your "Watch TV" Activity will power off the TV, cable box, and soundbar. * Some device maybe set by the remote to remain all the time.

Devices

The devices screen is primarily designed to access home control devices such as lights, Thermostats, and Locks. Individual AV devices should not be accessed in the devices screen for daily use.

Home Control Buttons

Home control buttons allow you to control supported smart home devices. Each button can have either an individual or group of lights or smart plugs assigned to it. The short press of a home control button will power on associated devices, performing a long press will power off the associated devices.
