Before you get into a conference call with BlueJeans, either by using a computer or dialing in with a phone, it's best to make sure your audio is working correctly.
Making a test call is the best way to avoid the frustration of having to troubleshoot during a live meeting.
This guide will show you how to choose the correct microphone and speaker devices. In addition, it'll explain how to test your audio settings in BlueJeans by joining a dedicated test meeting. This way you can be certain that you'll hear others talking and they will also be able to hear you during your conference calls.

2. Test Audio Settings in BlueJeans
BlueJeans offers a quick and easy method to test your audio settings before you get into a live conference call. You can join a test meeting, speak into your microphone and hear Jean the Parrot repeat back to you what you just said.
Launch the BlueJeans app.
Choose how you want to join the meeting, using your computer's audio or your phone's audio, then select Save & Continue.
To perform the test, simply Join as Guest. You can sign in later if needed.
Look for the Microphone and Speaker settings at the bottom right. If they're not showing, click Settings.
If you choose to use your phone's audio, you can skip this and the next two steps.
Make sure you have the correct Microphone and Speaker selected.
Look at the top middle and make sure your microphone isn't Muted.

On the left side of the app, enter 111 as the Meeting ID, enter your Name and click Join Meeting.
If you're using your phone for audio, dial the phone number and enter the audio code shown on the screen.
You'll still join the meeting from the computer and see everything on your screen but the audio will work through your phone's microphone and speaker.
Speak into your microphone and Jean the Parrot will repeat back to you what you just said.
If you need to make further adjustments, click Settings in the top right.
Once you're satisfied with your audio, you can End the call.
