2. Activate Motion Sensor on C by GE Light Switch

  1. Launch the C by GE app on your phone or tablet.

  1. Select the Room where your light switch is installed.

  1. Turn on Enable Motion Sensor.

  1. The Enable Motion Sensor will be turned on together with an additional option Enable Ambient Light Sensor.

  1. Now tap the Back Arrow at the top left of the screen.

  1. Then go to Room Motion Sensor.

  1. Here you can turn on the Enable Ambient Light Sensor option. This will ensure that the motion sensor will turn on your lights only when it's dark enough in the room.

  1. Choose Daytime or Nighttime to set the schedule for each interval and whether you want the Ambient Light Sensor to function during that interval.

3. Activate Light Ring on C by GE Light Switch

  1. Launch the C by GE app on your phone or tablet.

  1. Select the Room where your light switch is installed.

  1. Select your Light Switch.

  1. Go to Light Ring Indicator State.

  1. And choose whether you want the light ring on the switch to be turned on:
  2. All the time with the Always On option
  3. Only when motion is detected in the room with the Motion Sensor Enabled option.

4. Activate WiFi Indicator on C by GE Light Switch

  1. Launch the C by GE app on your phone or tablet.

  1. Select the Room where your light switch is installed.

  1. Toggle WiFi Disconnect Indicator to On.

  1. With this feature turned on, the light ring will turn solid red when the light switch loses WiFi connection.
