6. August Home: Lock and Unlock

To Unlock Your August Smart Lock

1. Open your August Home App.
   

1. Press the Red Button.
   

1. It will turn green and unlock.
   

To Lock your August Smart Lock

1. Open your August Home App.
   

1. Press the Green Button.
   

1. It will turn red and lock.
   

7. August Home: View Activity

1. Open your August Home App.
   

1. Swipe Left.
2. Activity of your lock is shown.
   

8. August Home: Invite and Manage Users

Invite Guests

1. Open your August Home App.
   

1. Swipe Right.
2. Tap Invite.
   

1. Type the person's phone number to send them an invite.
2. You can choose Always, Recurring, or Temporary settings for your guest invitation.
   

1. Always will give your guest unlimited access to your lock.
2. Recurring will set a date and time for the guest to have access.
   

1. Temporary guests will have a limited invitation to your home that expires.
   

Manage Guests

1. Open your August Home App.
   

1. Swipe Right.
2. Tap the Guest or User whose settings you would like to edit.
   

1. From here you can adjust the Access Level from Guest to Owner.
   

1. Change the Access Schedule.
   

1. Toggle whether you want Notifications or not.
   

1. To save your changes, tap Update.
   

1. If you wish to remove the user, tap Delete.
