How to View/Locate and Download files from Carbonite Safe (online)

1. Introduction

In this guide, you will learn how to view, locate and download files from Carbonite Safe Online.

2. Carbonite Safe website access

Follow the steps below to view, locate and Download files from Carbonite Safe Online

1. Guide the Customer to Login into Carbonite Website using https://www.carbonite.com/carbonite-account-login

• Click on Sign In 

2. Ask the customer to enter Credentials and login  

3. After Logging in you will see the User name and drive C click on it

4. Ask the customer and select which files or folders that need to be restored from their backup and click on Download

Customers can only Download 5000 items or 10 GB maximum, if they want to download more than 10 GB ask the customer to Contact Carbonite. 

If the Customer is not able to View or find files on the cloud, ask the customer to contact Carbonite: 1-877-334-7621

3. Carbonite Safe on PC Application

Follow the steps below to view/locate and download backed up files on Carbonite App on PC

1. First, double-click the Carbonite icon in your Windows notification area to open the Carbonite application.

If you do not see the Carbonite icon, it may be hidden. Click the Show hidden icons button ( < ) to view the Carbonite icon. In Windows 7, click the Show hidden icons button ( ^ ) to view any hidden icons. If you are running Windows 8 and are not viewing the desktop, please press the Windows Key + D on your keyboard to view the desktop. 

 2. Click on View my backup Cloud Icon

3. It will take you to the login page, ask the customer to enter credentials, and Login 

4.  After Logging in you will see the User name and drive C click on it

5. Ask the customer and select which files or folders that need to be restored from their backup and click on Download
