How to Screen Mirror iPhone or iPad to an Apple TV
Screen mirroring allows you to display the content of your iPhone or iPad on a larger screen, such as an Apple TV. This is particularly useful for sharing videos, photos, presentations, and more with friends, family, or colleagues. Here's how you can easily set up screen mirroring from your iPhone or iPad to an Apple TV.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Ensure Both Devices are on the Same Wi-Fi Network:
Make sure that your iPhone or iPad and Apple TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network to enable seamless communication between the devices.
Open Control Center:
Swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen (on iPhone X or later) or swipe up from the bottom (on iPhone 8 or earlier) to open the Control Center.
Tap on 'Screen Mirroring':
In the Control Center, tap on the 'Screen Mirroring' icon. It looks like two overlapping rectangles.
Select Your Apple TV:
A list of available devices will appear. Tap on your Apple TV from the list.
Enter the AirPlay Code:
If prompted, enter the AirPlay code displayed on your Apple TV screen into your iPhone or iPad.
Start Mirroring:
Your iPhone or iPad screen should now be mirrored on your Apple TV. You can open apps, watch videos, or display photos on the larger screen.
Screen mirroring from your iPhone or iPad to an Apple TV is a great way to enhance your viewing experience and share content. With just a few taps, you can connect both devices and enjoy all your media on a bigger screen.
