Stream or Share Video from Your iPhone to Another Device

1. Introduction: iOS: Streaming or Sharing Video
AirPlay lets you stream movies, play music and share content like photos and videos to your Apple TV or other AirPlay enabled device. It can also mirror your iOS device's entire screen.
Before you proceed:
Make sure that your Apple TV and Apple iPad, iPhone, or iPod are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Apple TV (2nd generation or later) with the latest Apple TV software.
Apple iPad, iPhone, or iPod must use iOS 7 or later.
2. iOS Device: AirPlay
Open the app you'd like to stream from on your iOS device.
Tap Airdrop or Airplay. In some apps, like Photos, tap the Share button.
Tap AirPlay.
Select your Apple TV.
3. iOS Device: Change Audio Output
On your iOS device, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to open Control Center.
Touch and hold the Audio Card in the upper right corner.
Select the audio output device that you want to use.
If you don't see the Audio Card, touch and hold the playback menu until it opens, then tap Airdrop. If you're using iOS 10, swipe left, then tap Airdrop.
4. iOS Device: Turn Off AirPlay
Open the app that's using AirPlay.
Tap the Airplay icon.
Tap and uncheck your device from the list.
5. iOS Device: Screen Mirroring
On your iOS device, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to open Control Center.
Tap Screen Mirroring.
Select your Apple TV.
If an AirPlay passcode appears on your TV screen, enter the passcode on your iOS device.
Your TV uses your mirrored iOS device's screen orientation. To fill your TV screen, tilt your mirrored iOS device.
6. iOS Device: Change Audio Output
On your iOS device, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to open Control Center.
Touch and hold the Audio Card in the upper right corner.
Select the audio output device that you want to use.
If you don't see the Audio Card, touch and hold the playback menu until it opens, then tap Airdrop. If you're using iOS 10, swipe left, then tap Airdrop.
